PM SVANidhi Mahotsav and Public Welfare Fair Inaugurated at Barkot Municipal Council

On Monday, the PM SVANidhi Mahotsav and Public Welfare Fair was inaugurated at the Barkot Municipal Council by Municipal Chairman Vinod Dobhal and the City Manager. The objective of the fair was to connect street vendors, hawkers, and small traders with the PM SVANidhi Scheme and various other public welfare schemes, enabling them to avail government benefits and services.

During the program, officials provided information about the credit loan facilities available under the PM SVANidhi Scheme, digital transactions, financial literacy, and other government welfare initiatives.

Municipal Chairman Vinod Dobhal stated that ensuring the benefits of various Central and State Government welfare schemes reach the last person in society remains a top priority of the administration. He encouraged street vendors and small traders to make maximum use of these schemes.

The City Manager highlighted that the PM SVANidhi Scheme is an important initiative aimed at making small entrepreneurs and vendors self-reliant.

Special camps were also organized at the fair for beneficiary registration, loan-related guidance, and the promotion of digital payments. Officials stated that such initiatives to connect eligible beneficiaries with government schemes would continue in the future.
