Workshop on GIS-Based Property Mapping and Survey

On 12-December-2024, the Urban Development Directorate, UKPFMS, and the World Bank jointly organized a workshop on GIS-Based Property Mapping and Survey at Nagar Nigam Dehradun. Representatives from 14 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Uttarakhand participated in the event. The session was presided over by the Project Director of UKPFMS, Uttarakhand.
The GIS survey is currently nearing completion in the 14 participating ULBs, with plans to extend the initiative to the remaining 93 ULBs in the coming years. The primary goal of the workshop was to deliberate on and plan the next steps for the effective implementation of the project.
