Stakeholder Workshop – Orientation Programme & Capacity Building.

A Stakeholder Workshop on the Orientation Programme and Capacity Building was organized on 5 October 2026. The workshop focused on strengthening the financial position of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), reviewing challenges associated with GIS-based drone surveys and door-to-door property surveys, and discussing the SPFM (Strengthening Public Financial Management) initiative, UPYOG, and the UDGIS Portal. The session also provided a platform for stakeholders to share feedback on social and environmental issues and discuss the proposed expansion of GIS-based surveys to additional ULBs. The workshop concluded with the finalization of key action points for further implementation.
